One of bessemerprocess's posts reminded me that there are some meme requests I need to catch up on. So, since she reminded me inadvertently, She requested the premise for "A time traveling cop and lawyer due" show.

I...don't know that I'm doing it justice here, really. But I keep writing scenes for this in my head and not meaning to...

In the next few days/week if you're friended by bell_dont_ring, it's me. I've been keeping that as my personal journal for a few months, but I never got around to really transferring my reading list over there...and I'd like to.

As I'm about to make a post over there with lots of exciting personal stuff (yay!), I thought I'd mention the move again here.

This year for Yuletide I was matched on my last minute offer, and I was absolutely terrified about not only writing RPF but omfg Anna Wintour... I'm happy with the piece and even more thrilled that the recipient was happy about it as well!

Anyone have any thoughts on a good topic for a short paper on computer law. I'd like to do something related to fic, but really a case note would be the easiest thing. Idk...just need to do some brainstorming and thought I'd see if anyone wanted to weigh in...

I keep going back and forth about where to post what, but I think here is better for movie thoughts than bell_dont_ring.

I went to see immortals on Saturday night. Let me tell you, I was metaphorically dragged kicking and screaming to this one. I had absolutely no interest. And I ended up really liking it a lot. Where the story lacked, it was just visually stunning and interesting.

And today I saw Melancholia. I've been wanting to see this since this summer. It was out when I was living in Prague, but there wasn't time to see it. I'm kinda glad though because having subtitles in Czech and Slovak would have taken away from the experience for me. It is...intense and intensely beautiful.

And in other news...after ten minutes of the season premier of Bones, I think I can't watch it anymore. I just...I'm not into Booth and Bones. I love them as foils, as partners. But I do not want to watch them bumbling about in Booth's kitchen because it's small and Bones is pregnant. I don't want to watch them talking about finding a place together. I don't want to watch the other characters talking about...them. I LIKE the other characters, and I DON'T LIKE what they've been relegated to. So, I think I can safely just...let the show go. Meh.

I did my Yuletide nominations! They are as follows:

I didn't nominate the Queen's Thief series this year because several others already had, but it will be my fourth request.
